• Medical Malpractice

    • We handle a wide variety of medical malpractice cases. Some of the most common cases involve the following:

Deficient Emergency Room Care: When something goes wrong with a person’s health, the emergency room often serves as their first line of defense. However, if the care they receive at the ER is sub-standard, their health may deteriorate even further, resulting in serious injury or death. In such cases, the medical care provider whose negligence caused the injury or death may have to compensate the victim and the victim’s family for their losses.

Failure to Properly Diagnose Illness or Disease: If a physician fails to recognize the symptoms of a particular illness or disease and “misdiagnoses” the underlying medical problem, that physician’s negligence could lead to injury or death. If it does, the physician may have to compensate the injured party and the injured party’s family for their losses.

Failure to Recognize or Properly Treat Surgical Complications: All surgeries carry their own unique risks and require the work of a careful, knowledgeable surgeon. If a surgeon fails to recognize or properly treat one or more of the potential complications that may arise and causes injury or death to the patient as a result, they may have to compensate the patient and the patient’s family for their losses.
